Weekly Highlights Round 2

There were some big wins this week as we started to see the new scoring format making its mark. Alleycats are the new early leaders after overcoming Socks and Sandals 28-4. Oddballs are just a few pins behind in second place after a 26-6 win against current champs IBS, while The Better Half move into third after taking 24 points off Top Pins. Elsewhere, Ebowla and Thirtyniners played out the first drawn game of the season, sharing the 32 points.

We have our first 600's of the season courtesy of both Sean Hale and Darren Draper. Sean finished with a 642 series with a 234 high game, whilst Darren bowled a 608 which included a 226 high. Also, just a few pins back was Dave Robinson, scoring a 597 series with a 232 high game. Great bowling all round.

Jenny Lewis, playing her first game for Misfits, made an impressive start, bowling a 585 series. Also, backing up his strong start to the season last week was Tom Cuthbert, this week finishing with a 583.

Finally, a huge well done to David Webb for bowling his highest series since he joined the league midway through last season, finishing with a very tidy 479 series.
