Weekly Highlights Round 23

So, we’ve reached the halfway point of the season — one that has, so far, been deservedly dominated from the outset by New Vintage. 

They maintain a healthy lead at the top of 24 points after this week defeating Oddballs 6-2.  Second placed team The Better Half also ran out 6-2 winners against Thirtyniners and there were also wins for Rejects in third and fourth placed Alleycats by the same margin.

With 22 weeks still to play and 176 points yet to be won or lost, things can change quickly — so there’s still everything to play for. 

Well done Jack Bracken on another fine series, this week hitting a 696. Sean Hale also continues his impressive season, this week with a 641 series.  Hugh Varrier was not to far behind with a tidy 596 and Dan Dennis comes good with a decent 546 series.

Also well bowled this week to Darren Ford (505), Bob Hawden (502) and Paul Lamkin (488).
