Weekly Highlights Round 28

Rejects take all the points against New Vintage this week, and coupled with Alleycats taking the maximum from their game against Blind 600, the gap between first and second now stands at just 8 points.

Misfits climb off the bottom after beating Oddballs 8-0, and an excellent team performance from Ebowla sees them to a 6-2 win against The Better Half in a high scoring match.

Some cracking individual performances this week and I shall start with what was not only this weeks high series but, in my unconsidered opinion, quite possibly the individual performance of the season.

Tom Cuthbert, take a bow, 652 series with a 278 high game. Obviously Tom hit both his high game/series thus far and this also puts him top of the pile in the High Game Handicap standings by a distance.

OK moving on, Sean Hale and Ben Cox both clocked up another 600 series, both finishing with a 641. Sean had a high game of 256, and Ben a high of 247 - well done to both.

Colin Chapman also gets into the 600 club this week with 618 including a high game of 235, nice one Colin.

Chris Jackson beats his season best series & game once again this week bowling a 568 with a high game of 234, and Tim Bates puts in his highest series of the season with a 538.

Josh Draper continues his good form with a 574 series, and Ben Strohmer bowls his season high game of 192, finishing with a very tidy 503 series.
