Weekly Highlights Round 34

Thirtyniners seem top be the bogey team for New Vintage this season, as they once again came out on top when the two met this week, running away with an 8-0 win. Alleycats took advantage by beating The Better Half 6-2, to close the gap at the top to 12 points. Elsewhere, Top Pins remain fourth by beating Blind 600 8-0 and Rejects stay fifth despite going down 6-2 against Misfits.

Just a 6 point spread now covers the bottom 4 teams after Oddballs took maximum points against Ebowla.

Individually, the star performer this week was the leagues newest bowler, David Webb from Thirtyniners.

David put down a season best 446 series, which included his season high game of 167, and finished just shy of 100 pins over his average. Great bowling David.

Dave Robinson had another good week, bowling a 598 series with a high game of 246 and both Hugh Varrier and Darren Draper both bowled above average, finishing with 575 and 565 respectively.
